It begins with childhood memories of the sea sparkling in the sunlight, viewed from an island home perched on the hillside near the coast. The infusion of  color was abundant. From the sea, infinite shades of blue, pastels like the pink anthurium lilies my mother carefully arranged to adorn our home, brought down from the mountain where they grew. The green ferns and palm trees peacefully swaying in the garden outside our home imbibed an affection for coastal hues. A special feeling of serenity and calm unfolded with every cool breeze, and the sensory enlightenment experienced after the rain as wet leaves, sea salt and flower blossoms came alive with fragrance. From the French Riviera to the Caribbean, we've curated fragrances inspired by coastal places I fell in love with over the years.
